A "Battle of the Bows" from Hickory, North Carolina... The Western Piedmont Symphony has a coveted three-year residency program for a string quartet. This week on Carolina Live, we'll hear four different quartets in all: two that have already been quartets-in-residence, and two hoping for that chance this year. There's also music from the Western Piedmont Symphony itself, under the baton of John Gordon Ross. For more information, visit the Carolina Live page.
